  • Alison Pidgeon is the Founder and CEO of Move Forward Counseling LLC. Since launching as a solo practice in 2015, she has grown the company into a thriving group practice with over 80 employees, eight in-person offices across Pennsylvania, and a statewide online therapy team. A Licensed Professional Counselor since 2009, Alison brings over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and is known for her commitment to both client care and staff well-being.

    In addition to leading MFC, Alison is an advocate for mental health reform, regularly meeting with legislators and working to reduce stigma through writing, media appearances, and community initiatives. She also consults with clinicians nationwide, helping them build and grow private practices. While she is not currently taking therapy clients, Alison remains deeply dedicated to expanding access to high-quality mental health care.

  • Charlotte Leckow leads marketing, communications, community relations, and business development at Move Forward Counseling, where she has helped the practice expand from two offices with 35 employees to eight offices and a statewide online therapy team. With a background in business development, non-profit communications, and community engagement, she is passionate about reducing stigma around mental health, poverty, and human services access.

    Her career includes roles as Communications Director at the Community Action Association of PA and Marketing Coordinator at Mental Health America of Lancaster County, where she co-chaired the Suicide Prevention Coalition and built community partnerships to promote awareness and safety initiatives. Charlotte holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Advertising and Russian Language from Michigan State University, with a double major in German. She continues to champion advocacy, education, and partnerships that connect people to the support and mental health care they need.

Cecilia Wishneski, LAPC
